Types of massage

Traditional Thai massage

A massage without oil, done in comfortable clothing. The therapist works with palms, thumbs and elbows along the body's energy lines, then gently stretches you through a series of positions. It loosens stiff muscles and brings back a sense of ease in movement.

Thai oil massage

Long, flowing strokes with warm aromatic oil over the whole body. The pace is slower than in traditional Thai massage and you agree the pressure with your therapist. A good choice when what you mainly want is to switch off and settle down.

Hot herbal compress massage

Cloth compresses filled with Thai herbs are steamed and pressed into the back, shoulders and legs. The warmth reaches the muscles more deeply than hands alone, and the room fills with the scent of the herbs. Especially welcome in the cold months and after long days at a desk.

Sports massage

A firmer massage aimed at the muscle groups training loads the most. It combines deeper pressure with stretching and concentrates on the legs, back and shoulders. It suits the days after a hard session or between training blocks, and the pressure is matched to what you tolerate.

Foot and reflex massage

A massage of the feet and lower legs with pressure on the reflex points, usually done seated or half-reclined. It is short and focused, and you stay dressed. A good choice if you spend your day standing or walking.

Back and neck massage

A focused massage of the upper back, shoulders and neck. It works on the places that tighten from sitting at a screen and looking down at a phone. A short format you can fit into a lunch break.

Head and face massage

Gentle work on the scalp, forehead, temples and the muscles of the face. The pressure is light, the pace is slow, and most guests fall quiet during it. Pleasant after a long day at a screen, or as an add-on to a longer massage.

Body scrub and oil massage

A body scrub first, to take off dead skin, then an oil massage. The skin is left smooth and takes the oil in better. It is a longer format, so count on ninety minutes or more.

Pregnancy massage

A gentle massage adapted to pregnancy: you lie on your side supported by bolsters, and the abdomen and the pressure points best avoided are left out. The work concentrates on the back, hips and legs. We recommend it from the second trimester and after a word with your doctor.

Couples massage

Two tables and two therapists in one room, so you are massaged at the same time. Each of you still picks your own type of massage. It works as a gift and as something to do together.
